I love four letter coms. The reason is straightforward, I see a really good upside investing in this niche. Of course all four letter coms aren’t created equally, give me a good cvcv.com over rfzq.com any time. Notice I only mention four letter coms in this post. I am not remotely interested in any other four letter extension (unless it spells out a keyword that is)
I’ve lost count of the number of three letter com buyers who bought at the top of the market a few years back and are now stranded with 3 letters names with q,z as the main components. Don’t get me wrong I know full well that 3 letter coms are generally much more sought after and some go for crazy money, hell we’re brokering a 3 letter com right now for $110k but it’s yet to clear at escrow.com.
Taking all that into account though there are many 3 letter com holders who will have to bend over to sell their lower grade 3 letter coms (unless they can afford to hold out for the long term)
There are three types of four letter coms that interest me the most.
1. As already mentioned premium cvcv.com (all with premium letters) but names of this type have to be the creme de la creme of these types ~ lolo.com. lolo repeats both of the first two letters and is clearly a very strong cvcv too. I had that name under brokerage and it ended up selling for $37,000 back in Jan 1, 2010.
2. The reseller market is slow to catch up but I really like vcvc.com too and I see a lot of upside with this 4 letter com type ~ assuming you buy at the right price.
3. I love pronounceable four letter coms too. I have bought a good few of these lately and I will be buying plenty more (assuming again that the price is right)
